If You Are An Organ Donor, Make It Known By Engraving

“Organ & Tissue Donor”

On Your Medical Alert ID.

Whether You Have Medical Conditions Or Not, Our Medical Ids Are An Effective Way To Make Your Organ Donation Known.

This day is designed to help raise awareness for organ, eye, tissue, marrow, platelet, and blood donations.

So, in our effort of helping raise awareness about donating organs, we are spreading the word and hope you share this post with your friends

According to the US Department of health Human services, Almost 120,000 people are on the national transplant waiting list

20 people die each day waiting for a transplant and only 3 in 1000 people die in a manner that even allows for organ donation to happen. And, only 54% are actually signed up as donors, even though 95% of adults say they support organ donation.

Do you know that eight lives may be saved through organ donation? You can help even more people through tissue donations.

Signing up is as easy as going to your local DMV website or follow this link to find where to register in your state. organdonor.gov

One more thing: If you intend on being an organ donor, others will need to know. Please tell your family and friends about your decision. If you wear a medical ID make sure you engrave “ORGAN AND TISSUE DONOR” on the last line of your bracelet or dog tag
